USER'S AGREEMENT AND RULES OF CONDUCT FOR 3M MESSAGE BOARDS

The terms and conditions below govern the relationship between 3M and any user ("The User") of 3M website ("The Website").

Use of and participation in 3M's message boards (“interactive community”) are contingent upon your acceptance of the following terms and rules. By participating in the interactive community, you acknowledge your acceptance of these terms. For purposes of this agreement, "Participant" refers to you. "3M" refers to the 3M website.

RULES OF CONDUCT

Participant shall not upload, post, or otherwise make available on the 3Mapplicatortalk.com site any material protected by copyright, trademark or other proprietary right without the express permission of the owner of such copyright, trademark or other proprietary right. Users shall not post defamatory, slanderous, libel, obscene or otherwise unlawful material, which is claimed to violate the copyright, trademark, privacy, proprietary or other rights of third parties. No "Calls to Action" or calls to boycott a particular company or store are allowed. Employees or agents of film manufacturers or distributors are not allowed to comment on other companies’ products or services. 3M reserves the right to add additional or modified rules at any time.

Participant hereby waives any and all rights to any stories, ideas, drawings, opinions, images and other creative "Submissions" posted to the 3MApplicatortalk.com site. Participant authorizes 3M to utilize, in any manner it sees fit and for eternity, the Submissions posted on the site, which shall become the property of 3M. Participant releases 3M from any and all claims or liability (now known or hereafter arising) in connection therewith, and agrees to indemnify 3M in connection therewith. Participant agrees and acknowledges that participation in the www.3Mapplicatortalk site shall not give rise to any confidential, fiduciary, implied-in-fact, implied-in-law, contractual or other special relationship between Participant and 3M (other than the contractual relationship between 3M and Participant entered into by virtue of Participant's agreement to these Rules of Conduct.)

SCREEN NAMES

Whenever you post a message in the interactive community, your screen name will automatically appear with your message. You may choose a name to use in connection with your messages in the interactive community. However, you may not use a user name (or e-mail address) that attempts to impersonate another person; that belongs to another person, without his or her prior consent; that could violate the intellectual property rights of any person; or that 3M deems to be offensive. Participants are limited to one account only. Discovery of multiple accounts or deception will result in the suspension of Participant's access to www.3Mapplicatortalk.com.

RIGHTS OF 3M / DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY

3M is a distributor only (and not a publisher) of information received from its interactive community.

The content is supplied by Participant with occasional responses from 3M. 3M shall not be responsible for policing, monitoring, or editing such content, exercises no more editorial control over such content than would a public library, bookstore, newsstand, or other distributor of content, and accordingly, shall not be responsible for exercising editorial control over such content. Notwithstanding the foregoing, 3M shall have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor such content in order to respond to or comment upon communications by Participants and in order to determine compliance with the foregoing Rules of Conduct. 3M shall have the right and sole discretion to edit, to refuse to publish or to remove any content whatsoever which it finds to be in violation of the provisions hereof or which it finds in its sole discretion to be otherwise objectionable for any reason whatsoever. The opinions expressed in the message boards are not necessarily (and in some cases not at all) those of 3M. 3M is not responsible for any materials provided by users which are deemed harmful or offensive to others 3M is not responsible in any way for any injury, loss, or damage which occurs as a result of an opinion expressed or information provided in these sections of the site. 3M is not responsible for the content of any sites linked to from the www.3Mapplicatortalk.com site.

3M makes no warranties, express or implied, as to the content in the www.3Mapplicatortalk.com site or the accuracy or reliability of any information or statements contained therein. All statements, advice, opinions and other information submitted made by Participants in www.3Mapplicatortalk.com message boards are those of such Participants only, and 3M neither endorses nor shall be held responsible for the reliability or accuracy of same.

PARTICIPANT'S INDEMNIFICATION / OBLIGATIONS

Participant agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless 3M, its subsidiaries and affiliated companies and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against all claims, losses, costs, and expenses (including attorneys fees) arising out of Participant's use of www.3Mapplicatortalk.com, or arising out of any violation of these Rules of Conduct by Participant including, without limitation, any communication by Participant which is claimed to be defamatory, libel, obscene or otherwise unlawful, which is claimed to violate the copyright, trademark, proprietary or other rights of third parties, or which constitutes a submission of materials.

TERMINATION

3M shall have the right to immediately terminate or suspend any Participant's use (including but not limited to their screen name) of the www.3Mapplicatortalk.com site if 3M determines in its sole discretion that Participant has violated the Rules of Conduct set forth herein or otherwise breached this agreement, or has engaged in conduct which 3M determines in its sole discretion to be unacceptable.

Please remember that we are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this Message Board. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by completing this form. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this Message Board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violates any law. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by this Message Board.
